Due to the travel restrictions caused by the new coronavirus, the start of work on the silk soap workshop we were preparing in Kenya and Ethiopia has been postponed indefinitely.
We were just getting started! I was shocked. However, it was fortunate that the Kenyan members who were at the institute in Japan were able to return home safely.
During the December, January, and February trips, we did the best we could. With thanks for what we were able to accomplish, we will first try to ensure the safety of the farmers and the silk soap workshop staff.
